You may have noticed that I’ve been gone all week.

I’m currently going through one of the scariest things has ever happened to me, I got hit with a bought of Bell’s Palsy. If you don’t know what that is, it’s when there is inflammation around your facial nerves. So, the whole right side of my face (my mouth, nose and eye) is currently under paralysis. I can’t move my eye; I’m struggling to talk and I’m having trouble eating.

But God is good!

My spirits are high, I recently said on social media that I’m not going to let the devil muzzle me. We all go through storms, but I’m going to praise God in this storm. I will recover from this, but I wanted to give an update of why I’m not on the radio. Plus, the doctors specifically said that I can’t be on the radio. I’m supposed to rest, a lot of sleep and try to stay away from stress. Even hearing myself, I’m like ‘what the heck’ because I don’t sound like myself. But I’m working and even though it doesn’t sound like it, my spirits are really high.

I love the Lord. I’m excited to see what God is going to do through this because I’m not the only one in Houston going through a storm right now. And the devil is going to try to muzzle me and make it so my mouth can’t work, but he ain’t gonna muzzle me!

So, I’m here to tell you that even though I’m going through this storm, I’m trusting God. I know that God will get the glory through this. I know that there is healing through this. And I want to tell you right now that if you’re going through a storm, God’s got you. It may not be your health, it might be your finances, relationships or something going on at your job – God is going to take care of you. God is in control and you need to trust in Him. I’m trusting God and I know that He is good. God is going to get the glory in all of this. The devil is not going to muzzle me, and I know that there is healing in this.

If you’re reading this right now, I don’t want you to feel sorry for me. I want you to be encouraged. And if you would, send up a prayer for ya boy because I want to get back on the radio doing what I do sooner rather than later.

I’m moved to tears because we are a family. We get to do fun things together like emoji the song Knucklehead news, but we also get to encourage and pray for one another. It’s not just about music, it’s about growing in our relationship with God together. I believe that by going through this bought of Bell’s Palsy, we get to walk through this together and our faith gets to grow together. I want you to grow with me in faith, this is not messing with my faith. This is making my faith stronger and I want your faith to grow stronger too.
