The culture is shifting and CHH continues to rise! This year's Dove Awards was leaking with evidence. What used to be a genre on the outside looking in, has again taken center stage in front of the Christian music community. Faith can still move through any sound, rhythm and culture.

Here are 3 major highlights that showed how strong CHH's presence has become in the Christian space.

1. Hulvey's Powerful Moment

Winning the award for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album for "CRY", Hulvey's acceptance speech left his wife in tears and applause ringing in the room and on social media. His reminder and reference of Matthew 24 and heartfelt prayer was real and bold. In a moment to bring a message when the mic is on and ears are listening, Hulvey delivered, declaring the personhood of the Holy Spirit and sharing the ministry behind the beats. 2. Lecrae's Electrifying Performance

The pioneer himself, Lecrae, brought a performance both classic and current. Bridging the audience of hip hop fans and churchgoers, his performance began with a choir singing the chorus of "Still Here" before beams of lights showered the stage as "Brick for Brick" rang in the venue. 3. Bodie's Freestyle Surprise
