Happy New Year, NGEN Fam! We are SO ready to start 2018 right! Eating right, getting our finances right, hitting the gym (again or for the first time). This year, your NGEN Fit Fam is back! It is a pretty cool thought that God had us in mind from the beginning of time. He is almighty and whilst He doesn’t need anyone, He still chose to create us. He formed us and gave us life. He allowed us to be in relationship with Him. Through Jesus we are His children and He knows our names. He has promised that He will always be with us. God let His one and only Son die on the cross so that we could start a personal relationship with Him. The greatest decision that we can make is to say YES to Jesus. And as if that wasn’t enough … He has a great plan for our lives! Not only does God call us into a relationship with Him, He has a unique plan for each of us and is always waiting for us to respond to His call. As we spend time with Him, talking to Him through prayer and reading His word, we get to know Him and discover His ways. As we start this week, let’s take a moment to put Jesus–the One who has called us by name–as first priority in our lives. There is nothing better!
