Can't Tell It All w/ Hulvey

From: Admin UserCan't Tell It All is the intro from my album, Christopher. The concept comes from the verse where it talks about how Jesus did so many things, that if they were to write books about it, the world couldn't contain the amount of books that could be written.
Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written. John 21:25
So the concept is like, man, I can't tell it all, not because I'm keeping secrets, but because I can't even express how much He's done in my life. You know, I can't even tell it all because He's just done so much.
In the song, I'm telling stories and just expressing my heart. In one of those stories, there's a line where I say
I seen a woman drooling out the mouth
I seen the demons in her casted out
I remember being in the gas station in Memphis, Tennessee on a mission trip, and I saw a woman. She was drooling out of her mouth. She was possessed, it was crazy. And I saw my mentor who had been fasting for this trip, preparing his spirit for this. He put his hand on her, she felt heat on her head and she was healed.
I saw at that same gas station, same night, a drunk woman turned sober. Crazy stuff that I can't even lie about, it just happened. And I put it in there.
I talked about my friend who threw his vape in the lake when he found the Lord. That's my friend, Noah. I remember being there when he was just done with it, you know what I mean? And he never went back. And now this man's changed, just like that.
There's just a lot of testimonies in this song. Then at the end, there's a line, where I say:
If you want to walk with God,
you got to walk with some good company,
not the ones that build your company
Reach don't come for me.
It's kind of a funny line because I'm jabbing at Reach {Records} - in a good way. I love Reach. But, I'm saying, you can't put your stock in your business and expect that to be where you find your spiritual growth. It's got to be with Him and with people around you who are down to disciple you.
As much as I love Reach, I know that they're not the people that are discipling me spiritually. They might say things that impact me spiritually or even an OG artist might come in and help me with something, but as a whole, with my walk, I can't expect the growth of my walk to come from there.
The whole song is just super testimonial. And what's cool, too, is the sound of it. It's like someone's boxing. It sounds like a Rocky movie. I was at the dinner table and my dad heard the beat. He was like, man, you should write this about a fight. So that's the first line of the song:
I'm 'bout to step in the ring for the fight of my life
Hit my knees and I strap on my gloves
Boy, I been prepping since like I was seven
And thing is I'm already covered in blood
I hope this song touches people as much as it did me.
