Do you wonder if you’ll ever find it?  Real Love? You may have heard the song by Blanca here on NGEN (she even has a Spanish version called “Amor Real” that you can hear at the bottom of this post!) But how do we know Real Love? For real? “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sin” – 1 John 4:10 To know love, we need to get to know God. And He loves us way more than we could ever imagine! A lot of the times we don’t know love because the way you and I experience and show love is imperfect. But God’s love is AMAZING! Check out what His word says about love: Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable. Love keeps no record of being wronged. Love does not rejoice about injustice. Love rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love NEVER gives up and never loses faith. Love is always hopeful and endures through every circumstance. Love will last forever. (That’s taken from 1 Corinthians 13, The Bible.) No matter what anyone says, God’s love is REAL.
