NGEN Takes On Digital
As an NGEN listener, you probably already know that our goal is to encourage you with positive hip-hop and pop and tackle important life topics head-on. And we hope you’ve felt loved and supported on each step of your faith journey!
When NGEN Radio launched over 11 years ago, the best way to reach our audience was on traditional radio frequencies. Fast forward to today, and our listeners consume almost all of their content digitally on platforms like Apple Music and Spotify. But we probably don’t need to tell you that – you’re already there!
Over the past six months, a growing part of our audience has moved from tuning in on 91.7FM to listening on our app and website. Because of this, the station has prayerfully decided to solely focus on digital distribution for NGEN Radio beginning Monday, November 8, 2021. This means you will no longer be able to listen to NGEN on 91.7FM in Houston.
BUT NGEN isn’t going away! You’ll still be able to experience the music and messages you love and call or text your favorite DJs.
This transition will actually expand the station’s reach even more with exclusive, digital content on the NGEN website and app.
NGEN is wherever you are, so the encouragement and community you’re searching for are available 24/7. We hope you’ll share NGEN with others and continue to join us as we live, love, and serve like Jesus so God can use us to shift the culture!
