With the cold front and cooler mornings this week, it actually FEELS like fall in Houston!
We asked the NGEN DJs what is their favorite thing about Houston in the fall:
AYANA MACK: The Houston Zoo does Zoo Boo, and has a pumpkin patch which is really nice for families.
MANNY: This is my 1st fall in Houston, but I’ve already had a pumpkin spice latte so I guess that’s how it feels.
COPPELIA: So. Many. Pumpkin. Farms!!! And Fall Festivals! I love that we get a handful of mornings in the 60s when it actually FEELS a little like fall. And I love that Thanksgiving and Christmas are almost here!!! It’s the MOST wonderful time of the YEEEAAARRRRR!
CHRIS CHICAGO: My favorite thing is that place we went to last year, what was the name??
ANGELA: Chris, that is the vaguest thing I’ve ever heard in my life.
COPPELIA: LOL! Angela, I think I know what Chris is talking about! Hahaha! It’s the place my family took Chris and his family to last year! We all went to the pumpkin patch at Dewberry Farm!
So Angela, what’s your favorite thing?
ANGELA: I don’t really know what specifically I like about Fall in HOUSTON, per se…it’s so hot here :( I love when fall drinks come to Starbucks. I like driving with the windows down without feeling like I’m going to die. I like wearing a silly costume to work. I like seeing my family at Thanksgiving. Pumpkins are always a great idea. I like going to ma friendly neighborhood pumpkin patch. It’s also the best time of the year to be outside and to explore the parks! Ya ya ya!!!!!
From all of us here at NGEN, we hope you have the best Houston Fall, y’all!
