Here's a feel-gooder for ya!
A 10-month-old dog named Picasso is entering an exciting new chapter of his life, all thanks to an Oregon dog rescue group.
The pitbull-terrier mix was born with a facial deformity that makes it look as if his snout is going right while his jaw goes left. Picasso is healthy, according to Liesl Wilhardt, executive director of Luvable Dog Rescue, located just outside of Eugene.
“He can eat sideways, but he’s a very messy eater,” she told HuffPost. “Same with water.”
Word is, Picasso was a part of a litter of five puppies born last year in Porterville, California, by a backyard breeder. When he wasn't able to sell the last two pups, they were taken to an animal shelter, close to being euthanized. Thanks to Wilhardt, she stepped in and adopted them to make sure that didn't happen.
Now, Picasso's pics have gone viral and people are going crazy wanting to adopt him.
