Atlantic Records released a song from Lecrae off the soundtrack of the new movie "The Shack" which will hit theaters March 3rd. Lecrae collaborates with Breyan Isaac on "The River of Jordan," which ends up being a track about removing the pressures of religion in hopes to actually experience the freedom of knowing God.
Here's how he concludes:
I lost my religion but I found God
Sounds odd but I’m better at seeing how far
did I come from the dark is the nights to the light
irregardless of all of my many flaws
