What started as a joke has turned into over $70,000 for charity. Phil Heckels, known as the artist Hercule Van Wolfwinkle, drew his dog and put it on Facebook offering to do paid for artist commissions of people's pets as a joke.
He got so many requests he decided to turn it into a fundraiser for a homeless charity.
